Austin Bass Club Monthly Tournament

    On October 2, 2004 my brother (Dwayne) and I took a ride over to Lake Limestone's neck of the woods. We wanted to recon the area for an upcoming club tournament. We were looking for places to stay and what and were the launch sites are like. Here is some of the information we gathered.

Lake Limestone Point A: BRA Park #1

  • Located on the west side of the dam on FM 937
  • Two-lane boat ramp and oiled-sand parking lot; can get messy in hot weather
  • No fee required
  • Open all year, 24 hours a day
  • Operated by Brazos River Authority (903) 529-2141

Lake Limestone Point B: Limestone County Park #2

  • Located on the west side of the lake on FM 3371
  • Three-lane boat ramp and oiled-sand parking lot
  • No fee required
  • Open all year, 24 hours a day
  • BRA property maintained by Limestone County (903) 529-2141

Lake Limestone Point C: Limestone County Park #3

  • Located on the east side of the lake on FM 3371
  • Three-lane boat ramp and oiled-sand parking lot
  • No fee required
  • Open all year, 24 hours a day
  • BRA property maintained by Limestone County (903) 529-2141

Lake Limestone Point D: Leon County Park

  • Located on the east side of the lake on FM 39.
  • Two-lane boat ramp and oiled-sand parking lot
  • No fee required
  • Open all year, 24 hours a day
  • BRA property maintained by Leon County (903) 529-2141

We did not get to stop by Area D Park #4 So I have no pictures.
